OC Literature, Arts, and Lecture Series -- "My Deaf Journey"
Join us on Wednesday, September 26, 2012, in celebration of Deaf Awareness Week, when Storyteller Virginia Scott will share her own story growing up deaf, including the challenges she had to overcome and the conflicts that she faces in the hearing world. Sponsored by Oxnard College, the Literature, Arts and Lecture Series events are held on Wednesdays from 1-2 p.m. in the Oxnard College Performing Arts Building (OCPA) and are free for students, faculty, staff, and the community.
