Oxnard College Gymnasium

On October 25, 1994 Oxnard College dedicated its newly building Physical Education-Athletic Complex, which included a basketball court with bleacher seating for 1,500 as well as state-of-the-art facilities for dance, weight training and racquetball. The 60,000 square-foot complex included modern classrooms, offices, locker room and training facilities with the addition of two new soccer fields. The soccer facility was completed ahead of schedule to accommodate the training needs of the Cameroon National Soccer Team as they prepared for competition in the 1994 World Cup of Soccer. Pasadena’s Rose Bowl hosted the World Cup final that year.
