Articulation-High School CTE Students
What is Articulation?
Articulation is defined as a planned process linking two or more educational systems: a high school, a community college and, possibly, a four year university. The process helps students make a smooth transition from a secondary to a post-secondary program without any duplication of coursework thus helping streamline their educational plan. The basic philosophy of articulation is that no student should be required to repeat the same course content for which they have already received credit. An Articulation Agreement serves as the outline of terms and conditions that will govern the partnership.
