Registration priority is granted to continuing students who are in "good academic standing" (defined for this purpose only as a student who is not on academic or progress probation for two semesters); and to new students who complete the Student Success activities of orientation, assessment, and have submitted an initial or comprehensive educational plan.

Note: Students that started or returned in Fall 2014 or Spring 2015 and did not complete the Student Success activities including the orientation, assessment, and an initial or comprehensive educational plan will not be eligible for priority registration as continuing students. DEFINITIONS:

**Good academic standing  is defined solely for assigning enrollment priority as a student who is not on Probation 2 status has not been placed on academic or progress probation or more serious academic sanction for two consecutive terms. Students who are on probation for two consecutive semesters will lose enrollment priority for the next semester or summer session.

Educational plan  is each student's guide to what they need to do to achieve his/her goals.

Initial educational plan  is a 1 or 2 semester educational plan that may be created by the student or with the assistance of a counselor. This is not an approved educational plan.

Comprehensive educational plan  covers all of the terms needed for students to achieve their course of study.  This is the approved educational plan that students must have by the time they complete 15 units of coursework.
